The ferry crossing the inlet will be an adventure in the future for yourselves or when friends and family come for a visit when going to and from Anchorage.  The ferry is expected to be up and running by the summer of 2008 and will hold up to 30 cars and a few trucks.  It is expected to be 15 minutes one way and could not only save time when going to Anchorage, but provide a view we rarely see from the water.  Exciting addition to our transportation options.
